MIT Room 26-100
January 17, 2003, 9 am to 6 pm
Proceedings | Pictures

Thanks to everyone who came to the spam conference. In the end we had 580 people. Though much larger than expected, it seemed to go well.

Thanks especially to Gilberte Houbart, who organized everything; Dan Giffin, who runs the server and wrote the registration and nametag software; moderators Jason Rennie, Trevor Blackwell and Ken Anderson; MIT, who supplied the room, audiovisuals, and webcast; Mike Salib who got us a bigger room at the last moment; faculty sponsor Robert Morris; and of course the excellent speakers.

Can I still see the talks?

Yes, the webcasts still seem to be online.

Will the speakers' papers or slides be online?

Yes, most of them. See the proceedings.

Will there be another spam conference next year?

Yes.

Where can we discuss the problem in the meantime?

The spamconference ideas list.
